Pink Flower Mandala

Original pink flower mandala painting on a 8x8 inch stretched canvas. Painted with an apple tart green acrylic base, covered with a few layers of high gloss varnish and signed on the back. Colours in the painting are apple tart green, burnt sienna, quinacridone magenta, bright pink, pink blast and titanium white. The back of the canvas has not been painted. 

A mandala (in Sanskrit – literally means"circle") is a geometric configuration of symbols. In various spiritual traditions, mandalas can be used for focusing attention, as a spiritual guidance tool, for establishing a sacred space and as an aid to meditation.
