Sunflower Mandala

Original sunflower mandala painting on 8x10 inch stretched canvas. Painted with a light blue acrylic base, covered with a few layers of gloss varnish and signed on the back. Ready to hang. Colours in the painting are bright yellow, light yellow, dark orange, light orange, sap green, light green, burnt umber, light brown, 24k gold and copper. 

A mandala (in Sanskrit – literally means"circle") is a geometric configuration of symbols. In various spiritual traditions, mandalas can be used for focusing attention, as a spiritual guidance tool, for establishing a sacred space and as an aid to meditation.
